Maria Madden is an instructor and university supervisor in the Elementary Education and Master of Arts in Teaching program at K1ÌåÓý-Cascades. Prior to teaching at K1ÌåÓý-Cascades, Maria served as a teacher and administrator for Bend La Pine Schools for 30 years. Over the course of her career she was honored as a finalist for the Bend La Pine Schools Teacher of the Year and recipient of the Deschutes County Healthy Hero award. Maria also served on district and state education committees, presenting at a number of statewide conferences. During her free time, you’ll find Maria outdoors enjoying all that Central Oregon has to offer.
